Wanting to catch a game at old trafford, just wondering where is the best place to sit?

Plus, has anyone got any handy tips on actually getting the tickets. Would a trip to the ground be an idea?

Tim, I have a season ticket which you can't borrow.

However, your easiest way to see a game is a European Cup tie, as earlier a stage as possible. You can purchase them from the ground for qualifying rounds quite easily, just need to phone 0870 442 1999 and get the date when they go on sale from.

Ideally, you need to be a member to stand a decent chance of getting a league game ticket.

There's some useful info on THIS WEBSITE

Edited to add - there are no really bad places to sit, apart from perhaps the main big stand right at the back. That's like watching subbuteo.

The best place is either in the Stretford End or the opposite end nearer the away fans. This gives you great access to slanging matches and chants against opposing fans.
