Please don't get me started on yesterday, what an utter farce.

I really hope GR gets pushed out soon. I'm so angry at the way he's managing the team.

Ameobi - Lazy and ineffective. Should play Rossi far more often.
Bramble - Waste of space.
The others in defence didn't seem that bad, but still need to improve. Maybe with Bramble out of the team they can relax and concentrate on their own jobs and not worry about having to cover for Titus all the time. I know Carr could have done better against Anelka for the 1st goal, but Bramble's mistakes are just criminal and he's gifting every opposition player in our penalty area an opportunity to score.

As a Rangers fan I feel you greef, Craig Moore is hopeless and injury prone (how many hamstring pulls has he had yet?).

Also I must thank you for the 8 million pounds recieved for Jean Alain Boumsong, money well spent wouldn't you agree

As a Hammers fan, I chuckled when Roeder took over at the Toon, we finished 7th the first year he was with us and then went down the next with players like Kanoute, Di Canio, Joe Cole, Trveor Sinclair, David James and Defoe.

If he stays in charge it will be bleak for you guys - you have my sympathy. Saying that, we are in a similar pickle, overperformed last year and this year, teams know what to expect from us as we mainly have players of Championship quality who played out of their socks last year and are now settling back and wham, we are not good enough and Mr Pardew who has never been a tactical genius is struggling.

A long season for us all I think - at least we dont support Charlton though!!!

Bring back Asprilla ... Newcastle have the money (maybe), the fans (although they used to get something like 6000 in the mid 80s), the ground (maybe) but not the team ... and it's been like that donkey's years.

Cold have all been so different - if Schmiechal hadn't daved coutless times from Ferdinand back in '96 was it in THAT game, if Cantona hadn't scored the winner, if, if, if, if ...

Bramble is a shambles! Plus they are forced into playing Ramage out of position at left back.

They got caught sleeping before the transfer window and made no notable signing apart from Duff, and he hasn't exactly set the pitch alight with what we all know he can do.

Martins is a good player but he isn't playing for Newcastle, he is playing to get himself a gig at a club he thinks is at a higher level - hence why his performances are below his actual standard.

i don't actually think newcastle have a bad team, roeder just isn't of the quality that Newcastle need in a leader.

I don't fear the worst, but i am certainly not looking forward to the future

Oh really? In the 1890s, perhaps.

More like Big Sam, I reckon. Unfortunately.
I'd honestly rather keep our entertaining defence and start scoring goals. Keiron Dyer could make all the difference. And we can win tonight! Come on!!

Weeeeeeeeeeee woooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnn, yay, yes I know we scrapped through but it was a good game and we actually defended well, Peter Ramage is now officially a god. Disappointed in N'zogbia's last ball and Milners wasn't much better either and WTF happened to Nobby's control? Anyway we won bounce

Even as a L'pool fan used to like watching Newcastle, but now just absolutely crap. Think only Given, Duff and Parker Premiership players. Need to get rid of Roeder as well.

You're joking right? You don't think Martins, Emre, Milner, Dyer etc are premiership quality players?

I will agree with your comment about watching Newcaslte though, they're far less entertaining to watch than 10 years ago (when round about this time Philipe Albert was lobbing Schmeichel to make it 5-0).

Did you see the game. I didn't, but reports say that they actually played quite well.
I just can't understand why they're struggling to break teams down.

I hate to say it, but could a Luque/Martins partnership be any less successful?

A clean sheet! Even with Bramble and Babayaro playing!!! What ever will happen next.

I can probably guess, it'll come at the weekend when bramble lets in a soft goal, and ameobi is picked in the first team while he limps around the half way line
