On the whole JC did very well against a determined cheat, I lost count of the amount of time he was head butted.

He is very experienced and his ring craft was as ever very good. JC wasn't on his best form but still outboxed the other chap.

He is something we should be very proud of...

Turns out his hand is still causing him problems so he couldn't spa for ages.

Would explain why they only showed him pounding the streets or running on the treadmill, and why his opponent looked so strong. Don't get me wrong, that guy was seriously muscular for his weight, but JC made Eubanks look ordinary which is amazing since he really is as strong as an ox.

He looked daft showboating last night but he did the job he had to.

Yep, him and Ricky Hatton are under rated.

Comparing Joe with Ricky is a bit like chalk and cheese.

I think Hatton since his win of Tszyu has convinced the world he's a force at light welter and since that has fought the WBA light welter( 9th ko) and the WBA welter (12 ud) with an IBF light welter title fight lined up in Jan. He's recognised his potential, the US have recognised this, as have HBO. IBF in Jan, Castillo in the spring and Mayweather in the summer. Legacy complete, then sit back and watch City.

Joe has minced for years in Cardiff and only once in my opinion has fought anyone of any interest. Yep, he gave Lacy a lesson in Manchester but since then has not progressed, his US exposure is still poor and there's more talk of fighting in the UK. He's got definite talent but I just don't see Warren getting him to the top of the pile. And, to be honest he just bores me. I've been to a few of the fights when he was on the undercard and he never did owt to impress. Then he bleats about BBC Sports personality and as he's a winner he won't win anything - get over yourself - your failure is due to the word "personality".
