I thought Carrick was disappointing and largely anonymous. SWP looked bright.....and Ledley was great. EVEN when Ashley ran across him when he was tackling someone in the box (Which the commentator refered to as 'helping' him .)

Maclaren has to make his mind up, or Venables for him, who is better player Gerrard or Lampard and then put him in the middle. For me Gerrard far superior, Lampard looks jaded.I know Gerrard plays on right for Liverpool, but England don't have Alonso and Sissoko. Croatia now even harder without Gerrard.
