newcastles opening goal... Was that THE worst ever decision ever to have been televised? 4 chaps offside, even the goal scorer though it was offside, yet, the linesman did not flag. very odd.

It was a fair result I thought, but still a very odd decision. We played pretty bad, as did newcastle...

We deserved to win the game but the goal was offside by about 6 miles, Shola looked embarressed scoring it. And will someone please shoot the rhino that is Titus Bramble, he is utterly useless.

I think Titus Bramble is a marvellous player. I'm always heartened to see his name on the team sheet, especially when we're playing you!

At least Taylor will get a chance to get some match fitness in, Ramage is looking very good though yes

he can trap a ball further than I can kick it.

His second touch is a tackle.

Shola was offside by at least a yard when the ball was launched - the assistant was probably distracted by the other three who were miles offside and jumping around like Kasas City faggots.

Way too much information to process...what with all the Everton defenders doing one like they had just boosted a car stereo.

Bring on a TV ref yes

I'm impressed with the slo-mo of Ameobi's goal. He takes the ball down, actually looks behind and to his right to see what the linesmans up to, and still has time to lash away the ball!

Don't moan about crappy decision making (it was a crap decision) instead you should be blaming the toffee defence for not clearing up first, then moaning about it second.

The toon deserved to win! And Bramble suspended for a few matches? RESULT!
Now, wheres Hacker Moore, Taylor and Ramage for some decent central defenders.

Not sure the toon deserved to win, I thought it was a fair result. However, the linesman decision was bad. Even you can't deny that. The defense moving up is an aknowledged tactic, so the decision was the cause of the goal, not the defense. The defense did nothing wrong. Exactly why do you think the toon deserved to win?

Black and White tinted classes
But also because Martins could do with justifying his fee by finishing some of the chances he had. But then playing the "What if..." game, although one of the other chances might have been taken I guess Ameobi's might have been ruled out.

I'd also go for the 7 shots on target compared to 3 however, and 9 corners to 6 both in favour of Newcastle. You can prove anything with stats after all

But with your 7 shots you got one illegal one in. We scored 1 legal one from our measly three! Satat mean nothing
