Rafa does it again, and with a reserve midfield for 55 mins!! Chelsea may win the league again because of their money and huge squad, but in these one off games the Reds rule.
Yup... But the league doesn't really lie does it! Would you rather win the league, or a cup? I'd go for league over ANY cup thankyou very much! It's a lot harder to to get through a 38 game run, than a cup competition. (And no, I'm not a Chelsea fan, although I find the money issue hilarious, as Man utd, liverpool, et al have been doing that for years).

Andy you think a succession of high pressure one off knockout games such as the champions leuge against the best in Europe is easier than the leugue against Wigan / Bolton et al..?
Yes, I do. 38 games week in, week out, against a tourno where any lucky team can win it? It's a fantastic achievment, but when you consider that the 'best in Europe' wasn't even the best in their domestic league?
I agree would rather win the league, but even Man U can no longer compete money wise with Chelsea. Look at the money they have lost on players this season, Crespo, Duff etc. They seem to buy players to stop other teams getting them, leave them on the bench for most of the season then sell them. Can't believe the Russian is money laundering

No different to the situation man utd were in whereby they could buy whoever they wanted. Put it this way, they bough roney from Everton for 30 million... 1 Player. How many other teams could splash that cash? No different to Chelsea at the end of the day, not to mention the Rio's, et al they also have at Old Trafford. granted they get a few games, but the gulf is just as big. Everton broke their tranfer record with an 8.6 million player... Thats pocket change for Man utd, Liverpol, Chelsea, so in my bok, you are all as bad as each other when it comes to us 'smaller budget teams'.
