So who do we all support???
Discussion
Now that the World Cup has been headbutted squarely into 2010 by Zizou... ave it you failed Everton defender , it is time for the proper football to begin. From freezing December evenings in Walsall to mouth scorching pies in Plymouth, the English domestic season is back! The time has come dear friends to swear alliegence to our chosen team and prepare for a season of banter, stereotypes and endless jokes about Peter Crouch - forza football and let us begin!
The first vote of the new season for the best team in the land must surely go to 5 times European Champions, 18 times league winners and a guarantee for the title this year:
Nottingham Forest
nope only jesting - there can only be one:
THE MIGHTY REDS - LIVERPOOL FC
Let battle commence

Go on, guess
Although we have no manager and have sold most of our good players so I predict another season of mid-table championship mediocrity. Ho hum, at least we have some local derbies this year
Would you settle for 7th (again) ?Although we have no manager and have sold most of our good players so I predict another season of mid-table championship mediocrity. Ho hum, at least we have some local derbies this year
Bloody Moxey is running the club into the ground, he refused to invest when we went up, we didn't use the parachute payments for anything and now they have gone we are told that the budget has to be slashed - hence the sale or release of our best players.
My team for the last 33 years has been Millwall, first game V Wolves away in 1973/4 FA cup third round lost 1-0(story of my life)
Greatest moments,
V Sunderland FA cup semi final won 1-0.
V Hull (away)in the late 80's gained promotion to the top flight for the first time ever.
V Liverpool (away) going 1-0 up through Paul stepenson rocket shot.
V Wrexham (away)last promotion to the Championship.
V Wigan at Wembley, lost 1-0 but great day out.
V Arsenal (away) won 2-0 in the FA cup.
V Chelsea (away) won on pens same season and Comp.
Saddest moments
Hearing my old freinds in the 70's were wiped out.
V QPR (away)FA cup ,same season last min hand ball put us out.
V Derby,Wigan,Birmingham,Brighton in the play offs.
Going to watch Basingstoke V Millwall (Freindly) this saturday, this is for a memorial cup and in rememberance to 8 of my mates all around 19years old that were killed in one car crash on their way to Southampton V Millwall in 1978.
Steve Medcraft was a real close freind at the time and we used to hike every where for games, even as far off as Wrexham,we would sleep on railway station benches at night and used to argue now and then on the route,i remember one time we were at a fork in the road in the countryside and argued over which way to go,he went one way and i went another, after a few miles the roads came together and we met up,made us laugh

1. Hull City - since childhood (it's a family thing)... first match v York City in old Div.2 in 75/76 season.
2. Liverpool - my top flight team ever since Keegan 2, Heighway 1
3. Exeter City - place of birth
Best memories...
Spring 2005 - second successive promotion for The Tigers and that glorious night in Istanbul!
May 1977 - that first European Cup triumph, just days after F.A.Cup final heart-break.
The Grecians making the F.A.Cup Quarter-Finals and that courageous effort against United.
