Whilst watching the Italian team arrival in Italy and the red white green vapour trails of the Italian Air Force display team I got to wondering.

If England had won the World Cup and the Red Arrows got to do a fly past, would the vapour trails be 3x white: 3 x red: 3 X white as it should be, or would the powers that be, seeing as most of them are bloddy Scottish, insist on red white and blue?

Funny... How are you 1/4 English if you are BORN in England?? Does that not make you English??

I remember the bitter jocks on the boat droning on about 1966, (more-so than us English chaps), and hark, what happens when England play Scotland?? Banners proclaiming Bannockburn, and all with Blue faces!! (The joys of history lessons via Hollywood! ).

I am 1/4 English in terms of ancestry, as I left England when I was 6 months old and have lived in Scotland since I was 6, I consider myself to be British and Scottish. I am not anti English but there are aspects of the English attitude to Scotland that are irritating and I despise ignorant anti Scottish little Englanders just as much as the moronic SNP supporting anti English Scots.
