And i suggest learning how to spot sarcasm in the future.

The Oxford English Dictionary will be of assistance if you're unfamiliar with the concept.

I'll lend you my copy when I'm finished looking up sarcasm, in fact, I'll even place a bookmark on the irony page for you.

England loses against Portugal, Portugal loses against France, Portugal gets what's coming to them due to the "what goes around comes around" rule. Did England lose twice? No, they came close but didn't, therefore this thread should have been posted last week, it simply doesn't apply for this match.

It applies because the Portuguese are getting a football lesson from the Germans.

So did you miss the semi's? Or did France play badly against Portugal? IMO France showed Portugal a lesson in football, in this game Portugal controlled half of the match and possibly showed more passion for the whole thing.

btw, if you click "smiles legend" to the left when writing a post, you will find a whole host of smilies, so you dont have to type "rolleyes" all the time

Anyway its academic now, Germany have 3rd place, the divers are going back home thank God.

Which is the point of the thread, which you seem to have missed in grand style.

I for one and many others probably have no idea what your talking about, the thread from the very begining was about the cheating Portugeuse getting a hammering by the old foe Germany and has nothing to do with the semi-final matches last week. Have you broken into your dads spirit cabinet again?

Not quite, there is already an entire thread dedicated to the 3rd place match, you seemed to have missed this fact. Of course you may have just wished to start your own thread to make your viewpoint known to all, afraid that it would be lost amongst a thread of people with informed opinions; In which case, your opinion has been duly noted, excitedly examined and fully respected. You're number one

Chaps it looks like its probably a case of "wrong end of the stick",is it worth falling out over, look on the brightside at least the cheats go home with the tails between their legs.

Old foe to who? England, Brazil? the title implies that Germany have got revenge on a previous beating by Portugal, which hasn't occured at least in recent memory. Why not post a "yay portugal is getting beaten after beating us" thread during the semis?

I inherited my Dad's spirit in a box, I don't plan to break into it, thanks anyway.

You didn't learn much in your history lessons then did you. I for one can't remember the world war that Brazil started.
Anyway you're boring me now. So I'll close this before you really annoy me.
