Ok Rooney got a red card, right or wrong doesn't matter. He was sent of for "violent conduct" which means FIFA have the power, and will, extend his ban beyond one game

Now a player who FIFA have found to have punched another player only gets a one game ban plus a suspended ban

That player just happens to be German

sorry...but why would one game be suspended?
Just so that he can play in the final.
What a joke.

This has really confused me. Figo was not punished any further becasue he recieved a yellow card during the match for it, yet Rooney will get further punishment for the stamp

The red side of Manchester, however, along with the rest of the England squad have warned the cheating little sh*tbag that quite a lot of action will be taken - infact, he's a walking dead man

And countless players have quite clearly been seen to have cheated during the tournament and FIFA do nothing at all. They are a joke.

The German player who got banned is Thorsten Frings, a good player but not the reason why the German team failed yesterday.
The situation in question was after the match Germany vs. Argentine. The Argentinian players were furious (well, some of them at least) and started a fight. The pictures didn't make it all clear but it looked like Frings tried to hit back after being attacked by one of the Argentinian players but didn't reach him. Apparently, it was just a punch in the air but reason enough for the FIFA to ban Frings. C'est la vie.

You will never square the circle with FIFA,they are just like the FA and your local councils ,infact they probably wear the same blinkers.

I very much doubt Ronaldo will ever return to Manchester. His personal possesions will get packed up by somebody else while he's in Madrid sorting out a new contract.

It'd be downright foolish considering the battering he'd get!

He's not going to Madrid - the horse he pinned his colours on for the presidential race came a distant third

Well, as long as accidental stepping on spuds, and a handbag push result in a red card, and diving goes utterly unpunished we'll be ok...
