Hargreaves is useless. I would rather see any number of other players in midfield ahead of him. If Gerrard is going to sit on the bench, I'd rather see Carrick a millions times more than I'd enjoy watching the Canadian!

Because if you are already on a booking and get another in the final group game, you miss the first knockout game (provided your team qualify, of course!). Otherwise, all bookings are wiped out at the end of the group stages.

I agree 100% with this.

All the banging on about how Rooney changed the T&T game was bull. Lennon did much more to change that game in my opinion.

He was either running their defence ragged or drawing the defenders off (as a result of them being run ragged) so that space was available for the others.

If Walcott is quicker and as confident, get him on for a go too

Downing made no impact whatsoever. Carragher and Cole would also be unlikely to get a game on the last two performances too.
