I'll say a boring 0-0 draw... France, like Italy, not quite up to their biklling, and S. Korea are a spritely little outfit that will defend well, but have little up front to finish it off...

France were terrible against the Swiss so I'll go for a narrow French win. I'd love to see them lose though and cross over the border in disgrace. South Korea used home advantage and masses of luck to do well in 2002, can't see them getting too far this year but you never know.

One-all.
You should have seen 'les guignols de l'info' (like spitting image) today. They interviewed 11 famous puppets who each shared their opinion on who should be dropped from the french team, ending up with a blank team sheet The best bit was the interview with Aimé Jacquet's puppet questioning current coach Domenech: "My advice: win the world cup! Like I did! Are you scared? You should be! You've got to win! I don't like you, he doesn't like you; nobody likes you! Stop sulking", etc, etc."

That must be a record for number of minutes played without a goal since winning the trophy

yet another of case of shit refereeing affecting the outcome of a game... it should have been 2-0 but the mr "oo noo we don't want cheap and easily applied technology to help us overcome human fallibility in our game" bunch don't want to actually make refereeing better.

1-1 LOL - well done France <snigger>...

...do you think France might do a bit better if they adopt the Arsenal kit as their national kit? That way, Thierry Henry might look like a footballer again...

LOL once more..

I refer to my earlier post. France are dire, and are only expected to play well due to their purple patch a few tournaments ago, andf that fact they have one or two good players. The team as a whole are poor
