Match Prediction ...Italy V USA
Discussion
The first red was deserved.
The 1st US red card was a yellow at worst people have being doing it every game. The italans should be booked for diving.
The last red I suppose Pope had been called for about 6 fouls but shopuld have b een warned that any more fouls and he would be off. US should have taken him off before he got sent off.
Its a shame as the US were playing well until the ref messed it all up

Don't agree at all. The guy cought Prlo just above the ankl;e, and was very nasty. It wasn't a mere trip, or late tackle, but potentially career threatening. God call by the ref on that, and the Rossi elbow.
Can't believe the sending off of De Rossi hasn't been mentioned in a bit more detail. What a shocking challenge on McBride - dunno about a straight red for that elbow, a custodial sentence would have been more appropriate and McBride is very lucky not have a fractured cheekbone or eye socket. One of the worst, nastiest and premeditated acts of thuggery on a football pitch that I've seen for a long time.
The first American red, although not as vicious as the Italian one, was also deserved. Watching it on slo-mo you could see that the Italian was lucky not have his ankle broken, but the second American red was a something and nothing. I so wanted the Yanks to win after that, especially considering Pirlo and Aiquinta's tactics of falling over spectacularly every time an American player got within five feet of them.
