Conundrum - win group or scuttle ourselves ?

To be the best we're going to have to play the best at some point,that said i realise the tactical move to play Equador.
IMO i hope we dont run and hide as we would never live it down,no,lets get stuck into the Germans and with Sven's tactics of making us look crap and lulling the better opposition into thinking we are a push over we shall counter and surprise them.
VE shall fight Zem on zee beeches!

:Footnote:...how things change on a couple of results,Zee Germans went in to the competition as poor and we went in as favourites.

Don't think tactics will come into Tuesday! We will be playing a Sweden team who really have to win to be extra safe, they certainly won' want to loose! Its going to be a tough game whatever side Sven picks.

As for next round I wouldnt fancy Germany, I think the two sides would be well pitted but in Germany against England a hyped up German would be difficult to beat!

We'd probably play better against the Germans than against a supposedly weaker team such as Ecuador. But go out to beat Sweden and take whoever comes along in the last 16

Better off winning the group. Assuming Argies top their group it means we avoid them all the way to the final.
