What a load of tosh. He just couldn't hack it and is now trying to make excuses.

More like he's been eating all the pies.

Clearly his blood sugar to fat ratio is too low. Better stop on the pies and start on the mars bars!

Sorry to hear that, but Brazil didn't really need him the other day anyway. They've got quite enough stars capable of stunning drives from 35 m out. Would be nice for him to finish his WC career on a high point though.

Ronaldo is farcically bad at the moment. Brazil are over-rated. That is all. ;-)

He may be fat and slow but I reckon there are a couple of tap ins waiting around for him to equal Gerd Muller's all time World Cup scoring record!

Could'nt have said it better myself. Brazil have been overrated ever since their heyday of the 70s and 80s

Well they won the cup twice in the last 3 World Cup doesn't sound overrated.

Admittly they are bit crap at the moment. Argentina/Spain is the one to watch.

[conspiracy mode=on]

Maybe Nike have decreed that he has to play until he breaks the goalscoring record?
Just a thought....
