Barbour Nimbus boots, anyone?

I’ve seen these boots for about £80. Look like they could cope with mud ok.
Are the elastic looking ‘Chelsea boot’ type side panels waterproof also? If not I don’t think they’re good enough.

Also is the sole fairly rigid so ok for walking a few miles?
