Attending a Pro D2 match

I fancy going to a Pro D2 match next season so looking for ideas.

I’ve no affiliation with any club in the league, just on TV it looks really good so not bothered which match. I guess it’ll be as much about the adventure and making a weekend of it.

Anyone got any suggestions of venues / how to get tickets ?

I've only been to France to watch teams play in the euro cups, so the only venue / team I can comment on which is in the 24/25 D2 is Grenoble. Good stadium, good fans, good town, had a good time.
Most if not all the current D2 teams appear to be in the south of France, so if driving a bit of a treck, saying that I've always driven and made a long weekend of all the trips I've done including Toulon. But this means you can have nice weather if you go in the autumn or spring.
If I had to choose I would probably go with Brive as they were a big club 10 or so years ago. I remember Andy Goode going to play for them.
