We bought a Titleist one from Amazon and it is flimsy tat, made in China, which was broken on arrival.

A better one is needed, is there a "go to" brolly anyone can recommend please?

The Motocaddy brolly is pretty good, with a clear section at the front.

Thanks. That would be the clearview model yes?

I bought one of these a few years ago and been pretty good when I have needed it. Fits in the brolly attachment on my trolley ok.

Brollies on Motocaddy trollies can be a pain if they are not tall enough. I’m 5’11 and getting underneath is a bit of a pain. So look for a longer stem if that’s how you want to use it. Mine is a Titleist with good coverage but could do with being 2” longer wink

Ping are the go to fashionable decent quality brolly, anything Motocaddy is very uncool.

Under Armour Dual Canopy. I and several people I play with have them.

Don't have a motocaddy myself so don't know how good they are but you can get extensions for the holder:

This is just the first one I found, others are probably available.

That’s exactly what I need, I just need to make it’s compatible. Cheers.

Yep, I’m a member of a coastal links course and it handles the strong winds ok, it’s well put together compared to others that have had to be binned after failing, three winters in and still going strong. I hadn’t thought about the height of it but generally carry in the winter, I’m almost 6ft and it’s not something I’ve noticed. Brilliant on dog walks as I can keep an eye on him while battening down.

Was the Titleist one genuine? Even if it said so...

I have the Decathlon one and have no complaints at all, especially at the price.

You'd be forgiven for thinking not. Flimsy as anything. Supplied by Amazon though.
