Pool Table: Composite or MDF??
Discussion
Hi all
Little Eltax was displaced from his room whilst we hosted a Ukrainian family. Now they’ve flown the nest, he’s decided he doesn’t want his old room back as it’s awful when it rains (loft conversion).
Of course I’ve worked the finance department heavily and been permitted to turn it into a games room. It’s big enough for a pool table, so that seems like a good shout.
I would of course prefer a slate bed table. However, we have two kitewinder staircases and I just don’t see how I get 250kg of bull up there.
That led me looking at alternative. There’s some good mdf bed options in the £600 range but then I stumbled across one on the Riley site for £700 that says it has a composite bed for ‘near slate performance’.
I want (max size that’ll fit) a 7x4 table if that makes a difference.
Question is…. Which one. Any experiences welcome.
