TV News Sports Spoilers
Discussion
I watched BBC News last night and one of their banner headlines was an announcement that Liverpool had thrashed Man U 7-0. Subsequently, the sports headlines were announced and the sports bloke said if you didn't want to know the result then look away now as Match of the Day was on straight after. D'OH.
This often happens with the F1 results, particularly when the highlights are being broadcast on another channel. I think BBC News are definitely the worst offenders.
Why do they do it? I don't particularly care about Liverpool or Man U, but if I've avoided the live result then the highlights are very watchable if you don't know the score/result beforehand. More so with F1, I find the highlights utterly unwatchable if I know the result.
Very irritating.
