Has anyone else registered for the ballot for tickets for the Paris Olympics in 2024?

Any success? We have sold kidneys and have managed to bag some tickets for Athletics, Swimming, Hockey and Golf. Hopefully going to rent a friends apartment in Paris for the duration, so now waiting for the single ticket sales.

i had the "early" chance to get tickets, which had almost sold out when i looked last month. Also it wanted me to buy 3 packages, so i didnt both.
There were no swimming/athletics or track cycling left. I haven't bothered looking at single tickets yet.

Same here, so haven't bothered.

There are still some single tickets, but anything popular is mega-expensive. A ticket for a single swimming event started from 890 Euro when I last looked. A ticket for the opening ceremony starts from 1,600 Euro.

Also, it appears the ticket touts have nabbed many of the tickets. Marathon swimming – spectating from the river bank – had official tickets from 24 Euro; they are sold out. However, the ticket touts are selling them for £290-500 frown

Exactly my experience - nothing remotely affordable for any 'decent' events.

Yeah, my purchase slot is at 2pm tomorrow, not sure what will be available and at what price (given the limit seems to be 30 tickets each, far more than in the London lottery)

Equally concerning is that hotels for first week of August ‘24, even those I usually use extra muros are asking €1K+ a night…

If you want me to check a sport thats available, let me know.

Both mens & womens 100m final is still available in the athletics sessions. Only Group A tickets though (980euros)

Im only interested in swimming at the moment.

Thanks - number one target event is the women's 81Kg+ weightlifting final on Sunday 11th August (last day of the games), but also interested in other women's weightlifting and of course any middle-distance or sprint athletics, male or female

Nothing left of interest to us, which is a shame. Not a single weightlifting or equestrian ticket. If desperate to see an olympic event, the handball final in Lille is affordable, and a 75 minute drive from Calais, but really can't be arsed

We’ve got tickets as a family to one of the big athletics nights (can’t remember which). I’ve got tickets for the Rugby 7’s semi’s to take my son too and we have tickets for my wife to take my daughter to Gymnastics. Bought some cheap tickets for the Rugby 7’s to get round the 3 events rules which will probably not get used.

Not cheap but I loved London 2012 and I love going to live Athletics, my Dad used to take me to the big annual Crystal Palace meet when I was a kid. My kids were 4 and 2 in 2012 at the time and I have no idea when the Olympics will be anywhere near the UK that is accessible as Paris.

Life’s about making memories smile Especially if I can do that with my children.

Thanks for the tip off.

I'd registered for the 3 packages & first proper ticket release ballots but it was all getting stupid with the pricing as the cheap tickets had all long gone.
In the end I booked a few days in Paris with the family for when the women's cycling & mixed triathlon is on. These are both free events and now we're off to the Concorde Urban Park to soak up a bit of the breaking, BMX freestyle, skateboarding, and 3X3 basketball atmosphere smile
