Taking the oldest lad for his first International at Twickenham on Sunday (v Argentina)

I'm an old hand getting to and from the stadium via the train, but we're on a bit of a tight schedule as it's a Sunday and despite my pre match ritual beer intake, for the first time I'm going to have to drive

The threads I found were quite old - any recommendations? We'll be coming down the M1

Good luck and enjoy.

Parking is a bit of a trade off; if you’re happy walking a bit, t’other side of the sewer/water works, is a good option - will try and give better instructions shortly. Down near The Alisa is often an option. Again, will grab some screen shots w maps etc.

Won’t be long…. And have you remembered the faff w the Twickenham App?

We always park on Meadway (and the surrounding roads) and walk down the a316. Normally don’t have a problem and it’s nice and quick to get away afterwards. Get there early.

This would have been my suggestion, access via M4/A4 rather than A316 and through Isleworth

ETA, looking at the following post this might not be an option. I haven't been a for a few years but when I did, parking at that location was easy with loads of room available so it seems a bit unnecessary but there you go

Isn't that now part of the Controlled parking Zone?

I used the JustPark app - the one where people rent out their driveways. It's very good and there are loads of places near the stadium.

Just watch out for any traffic restrictions on the day.

Doesn’t look like it from that map (towards bottom left)

Appreciate it's not parking at Twickenham. However, if I'm driving to the rugby (from the south west), I tend to park in Windsor (plenty of city centre car parks) and get the train from Windsor & Eton Riverside. Even for 6N matches, the train is fairly empty both ways and always manage to get a seat.

Thanks all

I usually stay in Windsor and travel in from there - using Whitton station

We parked at Feltham shopping centre (£15 for 5/6 hours) and trained from there

Car park is horrible, very tight and 2/3 size spaces with many pillars, but served a purpose

Train 6 mins to Twickenham
