Hi all,

My son is getting into fitness and has out grown his random weights. So Im in the market to buy some dumbbell sets. Can anyone recommend me a good website to go too ?

I want something like 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5, 25, I dont need anything heavier at the moment and can buy additional ones afterwards. I want a rack too.

Ive done a search but reckon you guys will probably know of a cheaper site :-)

Hey,

Strengthshop uk

I have bought from the eu site before and its all good quality.
Barbells, squat rack, and dumbbells.
What type of rack are you after?

Also, the main reason you are after dumbbells in particular, is it for space at home? Im a fan of barbells, but admit Dbs have a place.

I used Mira Fit for some of my gear. Good quality and reasonable priced.

My local gym purchased some Rogue stuff last year and it is decent! Costs a bit more than the Mira fit stuff.

(Local gym also uses Mira Fit Olympic bars and they are superb)

You could get a year's gym membership for the price of a set of dumbbells.
I'm not sure how much use they are anyway; I'd suggest a squat rack, bar and plates would be a better investment, but only if it's going to get used.

I'd go with this, pay for a gym membership and a few PT sessions to teach him proper form.

In the end I found a set on Facebook Market Place. 1kg to 25kg for £400. Im happy with that.

Now that lockdown is over Facebook Markey place is awash with gym gym.

Thanks
