Competitive sitting in the hot sun

Does anyone remember a 'sport' from the 1970s/80s where people just sat in the hot sun? They sat for hours in leather garden chairs, which the hot sun made uncomfortable, plus dehydration, and last man sitting won. It was a Latin American thing and could last for hours. I found it again on YouTube a few years ago but can't now.
