I was going to post this in the NFL thread, then realised he was much bigger than that. A true front line “name” of sport world wide. Much as the Mac Attack made rallying synonymous with his name via the games, so did JM. I doubt there are many blokes 40ish, who at some point haven’t played a game of JM on some console at some point in time.
Not many in the sports world win the top dog trophy in their game, have another 30yr career successful broadcasting career and at the same time another 30yr successful career running along side that. And be the face of a multi billion $ franchise.

As you said, i count myself as one of the many people that were, in part, introduced to NFL way back when as a result of the computer games.
