Long time bucket list item is a trip to the WI to watch some cricket alongside a holiday.

Dates for next years T20 England visit would suit me but no venues as yet, any insider views on likely locations (assuming it happens of course!).

No inside knowledge, but I would be amazed if Barbados isn’t a venue for at least one match.

On the basis of that assumption, I booked an 11 night stay back in April. The WI Cricket Board then moved the previously announced dates, so now I’m not guaranteed to be there when match(es) take place. I’m minded to just give it a miss now in any case as the COVID protocols on arrival are still a bit above my tolerance levels.

There’s a test tour planned for March/April too. Again, Barbados will almost certainly host a test and Antigua would be a strong second favourite.

It’s a great trip - I’ve been of 3 cricket related visits (Barbados twice and Antigua once) and had a great time on all of them.
