What are you doing to stay judo fit?

Interms of running how much of a contribution does it give?

Climbing the walls here.

Running will get you good at running... and improve cardiovascular endurance. It won't make you a good judoka on its own. You need to maintain core strength and work all of the small muscles as well as the big ones

I'd suggest doing some running: Sprints and
easy.

Calisthenics: pressups, pullups, Inverted rows, bridges, squats, lunges, getups, jumps etc. Add some weight with a goblet hold or rucksack/vest.

One arm/unbalanced/anti rotational strength exercises: dumbell/kettlebell swings, snatches etc.

Mace swings, jousts, grave diggers etc.

sandbags - pickups, carries, squats, throws etc.

Heavy bag punching.

Loaded carries. Walk around with any heavy object in different holds.

Stretch.

Roll.

Balance.

Ps. Lots of rope skipping.

Yep, what he said! Judo is basically wrestling an oddly shaped weight.
