Hi,

Ive suffered back pain for years due to a car crash many years ago. to cut a long story short am really suffering with pain in the mid top back between the shoulder blades either side of the spine.

does anyone know any good home exercises to strengthen this area? I do some yoga type stretches every day to relieve it but need to get better in the long term. I remember seeing years ago that there are some very small deep muscles in that area and saw exercises to target them but cant remember what they were / cant find them.

any help appreciated.

thanks

I have this as a result of disc degeneration in the neck.

The exercises in this video work for me sometimes:

The presenters are a couple of tts though.

I also found the pain eased when I started lifting weights regularly. Squats, dead, bench etc. The pain is back now that I can't get to the gym and have let things slip.
