Shotgun Certificate Question

I've been storing a friend's shotgun whilst he sorted his certificate out.... his gun is on my certificate, in my safe and my local Police notified.

He has now got his certificate and wants his gun. So is it the same in reverse? Transfer it back on my certificate, give him back the gun and inform the Police (they accept an email in my area). I assume I don't physically cross out his gun on my certificate?

Slightly dumb questions I suppose, but just want to double check with someone who might have done this a few times.

Yes, just transfer it back and let them know.

If you transfer or sell the entry remains on your ticket until the next time you renew or send it in for any reason, then they will remove that entry.
