Discussion
Anyone doing the Grim Challenge this Saturday in Aldershot? Anyone done it before?
My buddy convinced me to sign up... ive never run more than 6.5 miles before, and not in these kind of conditions. Still, im sure it will be lots of fun.... right?

Sounds like fun!
I regularly ride the GRIM Duathlon bike lap from 2014/2015. I can't see the route for the GRIM Challenge this weekend, but it mentions railway tracks and vehicle test tracks, so it'll be on the Long Valley 'High Speed Vehicle Test Track' near Aldershot. If I remember (and if it's not raining ) then I might pop over on my MTB to have a bit of a look around. Sadly there's absolutely no chance of me entering the event this time, and according to their website it's their last year too...
...Long Valley can be VERY wet, there's lots of sandy sections, and plenty of very large, deep puddles for the organisers to route you through. You will need a change of clothes and some dry shoes!
