Anyone watch the ALCS game ( this morning Thurs)
Call on the Astros ist inning where Betts gets the glove hit by a fan
The commentators ( i know the worst rule knowledge in sports everywhere) Said that there is a line on the far wall
They also said that if the fan leans over this line and stops a catch it is interfrence.
They then said that if Betts had had his arm over the line it to catch it and is interfered with with by a fan it is a home run
However i have seen catches where the cathers hand is WAY over the wall, and or into the seating area and the catch is considered fair
Any ideas what they were on about?
