Snowboarding in Austria

I'm interested in going to Sölden in Austria on 26th December until new year as a solo traveller and novice snowboarder.

Has anyone been there? Is it possible to do it on a budget, at that time of year?

Expensive place also not very high, so snow can be a little thin on the slopes , but is a lovely place ,scenic also Some high end hotels with fitness wellbeing to die for .

Going for New Year will be expensive anywhere. Better off going around the 10th Jan after the Russian New Year.

Head to Eastern Europe to save cash. Would recommend Slovakia over Bulgaria though.
