I’m thinking of doing the London Marathon this April 2018. Does anyone know how I can enter and how much it costs to enter?
I’ve just started some jogging, what kinds of distances are good training runs to ensure I build up stamina to complete the entire run. Does cycling also help build stamina? I’m not expecting to do it in less than 3 half hours just want to complete it in a good time and enjoy the experience smile

How did I guess this was you before o checked who posted this nonsense?
I reckon you sound. ready to go next month as you are. Don’t bother officially entering. Just turn up in your running kit, stay near the back and have a few pies before you set off for extra stamina.

Should have a pint per mile to make it fair on everyone else

Cutting a tree down would be good exercise.

Being chased by the young lad next door would be even better.

I know you are just being a twonk and don’t really mean it but if you’ve just started jogging and are aiming for around that time, then I’d be amazed if you got anywhere near that - mate of mine did the Tokyo marathon at the weekend and shaved 11 minutes off his best, finishing in 2 hours 45 mins - and this is a guy that did some epic cycling thing following the TdF through the mountains, ending up in Monaco and because he had nothing better to do, decided to cycle back to London redface

Train regularly for a few years and then see what time you can get.

Unless your quick enough to qualify for a good for age slot then you just go into a ballot for a place.
