Recommendations for golf holiday: Spain / Portugal May 2018

Hi all.

Wonder if anyone can recommend destinations / courses / websites for booking a golf trip.

The basic brief is 3 people, 3 nights (Thursday - Sunday), 3 / 4 rounds. Spain / Portugal are on the shortlist as we want some good weather too. 2 golfers are 18 handicappers (unofficially) and a 6 handicapper (officially).

Any recommendations appreciated!!

I’m not a golfer, but I was lucky enough to win a driving holiday based at the La Cala resort in Andalusia earlier this year. Resort, facilities and food were amazing, and the courses looked pretty special from what I could see when out running.

I live in the region, closer to Marbella. The whole region is stuffed with golf courses, many with spectacular views and scenery, and with it still hitting 23/4 degrees in November, what’s not to like. In fact I’d like to know if there is a greater concentration of courses anywhere else in the world. It must be up there.
