Skateboard for a 6 year old?
Discussion
Couldn't decide whether to post here or in The Lounge but here it is:
My lad has decided he wants a skateboard for Christmas and I'd rather get him a proper one. Any PH skateboarders care to recommend? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there on the 'net as to what to get. He's also quite tall for his age standing at 4ft2 (127cm) with size 1 shoes. From what I can glean because he is still young a "mini" skateboard would be better suited for now as it's a bit shorter and lighter. A deck width of around 7" is advised. Budget up to around £50.
Is this one any good for example?: https://www.skatehut.co.uk/brands/enuff/enuff_pow_...
Thanks.

I use these guys
www.routeone.co.uk
Complete decks here: https://www.routeone.co.uk/skateboards/completes
On the left, you can apply various filters.

Using the filters, based on your son's size, you can select the most appropriate deck for him and you'll get one in . your price range. At that age / price range, don't worry too much about brands, for a beginner, brand won't make any difference. When my son started, it was more about the design he liked but as he's grown up and become more brand conscious, he seems to prefer Element boards.
Depending on where you're based, if you're local to Windsor, I have a very lightly used setup you can have for free. Will take measurements, I can't remember what it is but it's just in the corner doing nothing.

It's a complete board so I'd assume it comes with it. Doesn't really say on the manufacturer's web site either: http://www.enuffskateboards.com/completes/pow/Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
