This article in the guardian about the incident with Stokes is interesting. Wonder if he’ll be lauded some kind of hero now, and back in the team for first test.

Just over 3 weeks to go to the Gabba, what a turnaround of events this would be especially with the crims saying recently that he should be banned for a year if the charges are dropped and now even the Captains wife is deciding he shouldn't play

I think if Stokes is in the team Eng just about edge the Aussies, I worry about falling behind against them and not having enough character to drag themselves back into a winning position.
