Couldn't find a thread already running.

I think this is simply appalling.

I have yet to hear a reasonable argument for these decisions and it makes me angry beyond reason.

I don't participate in any of the sports affected but I love to watch them and think we should be supporting sports which are not able to assist in self funding.

This. It makes me really angry too. So much for the 'legacy' of 2012, I know we want to win Golds, but I can't agree with UK Sport's policy.

It works, but ultimately is centred on 'paying' for Gold medals, and nothing else. In some situations we really need more investment in grass-roots. Some of the minority sports got a break in 2012, and they could have built on developing those sports (Basketball is the glaring one for me, when you look at poor inner city areas), and they just stuffed them. I know things like Handball are even more of a minority sport over here, but I felt sorry for them loosing funding after 2012.

edit: I see badminton met their targets...
