I'd say no. Ford is playing regularly for England so why would he go to a France and kill his international career? Even if he did they will play Farrell and go for a younger replacement. Cips has no future with England as far as I can see.

Is Ford going to 'quite' England I'm not sure where that came from - should obviously be 'quit'.

That stupid typo aside there is the thought that he could be off to join his dad for a few years in France, learn a little more and come back for RWC 2019.... Now I will agree that Cips could be viewed as "yesterday's man" (unfortunately another Gavin Henson) but given that he's got a few England caps (hence good experience), undoubted skills and still has a fair amount of gas and still is not too old.

Surely Ford would be off his head to leave England right now? He's got no need to go to France at this stage of his career.

This looks to me like a negotiating ploy: either some way (which I don't understand) to get more money out of Bath or a means of re-setting his contract length to potentially allow a break immediately post the next RWC

In any event, I think they'd put Slade in the centres and Farrell into fly half
