Hardest working and most talented player I've ever seen. Given his incredible success as both a player and a captain I can only concede he was rugby's greatest player, and coming from a Springbok supporter that's not an easy accolade to give

Im glad he's retiring when he's at the top, I just hope he sticks to his guns on that and doesn't get tempted back like so many of the greats do.
