Which sports subscriptions does he have? The internet seems to suggest that they should all be available on Sky Sports & ESPN, both of which are on Virgin.

If he doesn't want to subscribe there's always Now TV where you can get Sky Sports on Pay as You Go, or for NFL in particular there's GamePass.
