GPS watch

Any guidance on a watch that I can use to show distance when I am away travelling abroad?

Ideally one that can sync to my computer and show me a map of where I have run?

Loads of options. The Garmin Forerunner range are good. I've just bought a 920XT that does far more than I need but is full of geeky statsy goodness

I'd also recommend the Garmin Forerunner range. Like above I have the 910XT, which is hugely over the top for running. The FR220/5 looks like a good option. My wife has the FR10 which I think it the simplest in the range. Perfectly good for just tracking and letting you know the pace/distance/time whilst you are running.
