Surprised there was no thread alread, been an intersting week so far, I'm down a bit but not worried.

looking for a bit of value out of the very open race today.

Need to decide between Holywell, Road to Riches and Many Clouds.

I'm leaning towards the latter esp if it continues to soften....its a wide open race i might sit back and just enjoy it tbh....

1.30 petite parisienne

3.20 holywell

both EW L15 then coneygree as small single to keep it intresting

conygree has been talked up but nerver gone this distance on soft ground to win, and hes 5lb up in the weights from his last run...

front runner and that bodes well after cole harden yesterday but I can't see it.

i'm on peace and co. adn devilment e/w in the first....

given that last race and the softening gorund I've gone for djakadam and many clouds and i might go e/w on bobs' worth as he might get up the hill one last time..

ive cashed out both of mine and for a loss of £15 now its a £10 Ew on Djakadam so for me a 1st coneygree 2nd Djakadam or vice versa will do me.
but can see Smad Palace running well

1st time in 40 years a novice has won the gold cup,

but yet another poor show from the old masters Silvinatico conti - Sire de grugy-and of course Sprinter Sacare all been put in there places by younger horses, The gold cup next year will be an once and life time race with some of the horses that are about this year

Had £25 on Silvianico - Saw it at Kempton in December and it cruised home, guess it just doesn't suit certain courses.

The missus rang me 10 mins before the start, stick a fiver on Connygree for me will you.. Not lived that down yet.

Still - Started the week with a fiver and ended up on £51.
