Twenty time NH Championship winning jockey Tony McCoy has announced his retirement from the sport on Bet 365 day at Sandown. I doubt horse Racing will ever see his like again. He's won all the top prizes in the sport, National, Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle and also won SPOTY.

Great story doing the rounds. Tony and his wife got into a taxi in Dublin airport on the day of announcement. The taxi man, was distraught at the whole affair. His opening line was something along the lines of..... Jeez bad day around here folks, Tony McCoy has retired
