People will still call it Glorious Goodwood no matter who sponsors it. I still call last weeks hurdle at Cheltenham the Bula, similarly the Whitbread in April at Sandown, even though it's now sponsored by a bookie.
Qatar are certainly putting a huge amount into supporting British (Flat) racing....

moving with the time, losing identity we're seeing it more and more these days...various stadia named after sponsors etc....
Highbury was highbury, the home of Arsenal is now known as The Emirates...not the home of Arsenal...all a bit well, sad really...
