Hope someone on here knows about roller skates.

The kids both want skates for Christmas, they have been going to a roller disco weekly and getting into it.

They wanted them with flashing wheels. We bought the skates and then bought the wheels separately. It looked easy to change but the bearings that came with the skates have a lip on them. The flashing wheels have a magnet inside and because of this lip the magnet and bearings will only just fit. When you then put it on the axel there is no thread showing to put the nut on.

Do I just need flat bearings like these:

Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Are the axles separate pieces? Could you get longer ones?
