First clay shoot
Discussion
Braces Clay Shoot tomorrow.
Apart from a stag do ten years ago, my first shoot. I'll be joining the complete beginners group tomorrow.
Any tips please? When I asked on the phone they said not to worry, just turn up but I don't want to turn up and make a chump of myself (per usual).
Given the weather forecast, I'll be wearing waterproofs and walking boots and maybe a baseball cap to keep rain off my face/eyes.
Would I be better wearing contact lenses or spectacles?
Any advice gratefully received.

Keep both your eyes open. Closing one eye is for static target practise. You need both eyes open for moving targets otherwise you lose depth perception.Apart from a stag do ten years ago, my first shoot. I'll be joining the complete beginners group tomorrow.
