Rugby Union Level 2 Coaching Qualification
Discussion
Are there any Level 2, or higher, rugby coaches on here?
Thinking about working toward Level 2 and wondered how challenging it is to pass?
Obviously, with Level 1, they pretty much hold your hand and make sure that you pass.
What's the "step up" like?
Currently, I coach U10's, so limited, but increasing contact and technical aspects to the game. At what point does Level 2 start to become beneficial?
All advice appreciated.

I think its changed fairly recently, level 1 for kids and level 2 for adults rugby.
I'd guess the first thing you need to do is to decide what age groups you want to coach?
I need to get level 2 sorted soon, I'm not interested in coaching little ones so won't be doing level 1
Edit: I've just looked on the RFU website and I appear to be talking rubbish! I'm sure the local coaching guy told me I don't need to do level 1 a few weeks ago....
Edit for advice: I've looked at your previous post re coaching, don't worry about ex and current players being there, we nee to learn to coach not to play. My under 18s were a bit concerned when I ran a slightly 'pragmatic' contact session that involved me encouraging them to get their 'heads into rucks as low, as hard and as fast' as they could
