I try not to bother the PH masses for recommendations for stuff, but there appears to be a dearth of reviews online of badminton racquets.

Occassional player, need a low cost/high quality bat to replace my very old 'un.

Currently looking at the Yonex Nanoray 20 and the Browning Ti90.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Long time since I played badminton competitively, but i used Browning rackets for a while before switching to Yonex. Not much to choose between them, but I preferred the feel of the Yonex as it felt slightly 'sharper' and seemed to suit my game better.

Can't remember the exact model, but could have a look when i get home if needed.

Thanks for your response, much appreciated.

I've gone for the Yonex. Sub £30 with free delivery, and it appears to tick all the boxes for an average joe like me.

At that price, if it's not that good, I can always get the Browning as well. hehe

I did. It appears to be pretty good, though I think maybe almost anything would feel good compared to my fifteen year old racquet that was dirt cheap when I bought it......

Bought it online - maybe from you? Will get in touch should any future requirements arise, thanks.
