Roof box and Skis at the same time

Question is for a friend. He is traveling with a large roof box and would also like to mount two pairs of Skis. Any suggestions for a suitable product the could be fitted next to the roof box.

Car is a Insignia using genuine Vauxhall bars and Thule roof box. A quick search never came up with anything obvious.

Best solution for skis is to buy an estate car, and carry 'em inside.
Skis on the roof get nicked, and the roof box adds drag.
Mind you you see plenty of uk cars in europe with top boxes, so you ain't alone in desiring one
