I do sometimes struggle to balance all the sports I do regularly and cycling has taken a big hit recently thanks to a move a year ago but then I'm surfing a lot now.

So what sports do you do regularly and how often?

Surfing; anything from nothing in a week to every day (or more) when there's surf.
Running; around twice a week
Cycling; now around once a week.
Weights (okay not really a sport); 1-2 times a week.
Swimming; 1-2 a week when the sea is flat, none at the moment,

Hard to fit it all in!

Not sure really. Always done a lot of activity. It's hard to maintain the physio required of a powerfully built company Director though ;-)

Things I do weekly: running, at least twice a week.

I usually get some skiing (at Xscape) and mountain biking in on average about once a month. As a student though, money and to a lesser extent time, are the biggest hurdles I face trying to get out.

Squash once a week which is enough! cycling 1-2 more in the summer than winter but I have the turbo trainer for when its cold and wet and motivation is lacking.

I'm annoyed I can't edit/correct "so" to "DO…!"

Run 5-6 days a week, 6-7 runs in total of varying pace from long slow easy runs to short fast intervals.

That's significantly less than I used to but priorities change with family commitments.

Is your immune system okay?

When I was going full guns, I killed mine for a year!!

It's pretty good. I tend to get colds quite easily but I always have done since childhood. When I was training properly (running twice a day most days, 80-100 miles per week) it was very carefully structured and rest/recovery planned in from the start. Running 6-7 times a week now isn't really very much training but fits with my other commitments.

Squash three times a week until I knackered my shoulder and I really, really miss playing. frown

Paragliding - any opportunity I could until I had enough of it a few years ago.

Windsurfing - most weekends until that got too onerous in terms of the gear.

Nowadays, mountain biking most weekends.

You're also a fair bit younger. I was often doing two sets of hard exercise a day and hardly ever rested - not very clever….

Had to give up squash as I got older as I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

So now do:

Badminton - twice a week
Golf - once or twice a week (less in winter)
Cycle - try for once a week

Still hoping to get back into 5-a-side if I can find an oldies game.

I'm 37 now. I was a doing the proper training in my late-20s to early-30s and didn't have any wife or child commitments at the time so could just run, work, run, sleep with various eatings scattered through the day hehe The other point to note is that of the 10-12 runs a week, only 3-4 were at hard pace.

Now it's 6-7 runs a week with 2-3 hard pace.

The volume of sports I do seems to go up and down, some weeks I don't seem to have the time/energy/inclination to do any. Others I go mad. Usual week:

Swim: 4 times
Cycle: 3 times (to work and back), 1 long ride
Run: once or twice.
Weights: 2 times

Squash once or twice a week including a bike ride there and back (11 miles round trip).

Need to get out on the bike more!

Football 5 aside Tuesdays with 11 aside on Sundays and I do my own training on Thursday nights
Running/weights 2-3 times a week as I can fit them in sometimes after footy if I feel like punishing myself for a bad performance

Try searching for Goals or pitch invasion they both do 5/7 aside leagues and they sometimes do have made up teams from randoms plus if you can make it to the early games there always teams running short so should be able to get a quick walk on and they may ask you back to play again
